ResumoThe main objective of this work is to analyze the shifting condition of the rural part time workers (boia-fria) due to the creation of the labour law, when he abandons the farm as his place of living. The historical analysis is developed focused on the sugar cane production and processing system in the state of Pernambuco. Through a socio - anthropological approach this study seeks to understand the origin of the rural part time workers (boia-fria) and the change of work conditions since the time when Brazil was a colony up to nowadays, in his struggle for surviving and social recognition. One of the goals of this study is to contribute to other xxx in the field of Ergonomics through the Ergonomic Work Analysis method.
