ResumoAbstract The sesquiterpenoic alcohol nerolidol was separated into its 4 stereoisomers by MPLC of the diastereomeric (1 S, 4 R)-camphanoates. An analytical GC method was found by which both the enantiomeric pairs of (Z)- and (E)-nerolidol are resolved on a chiral cyclodextrin stationary phase. The olfactoric properties of the nerolidol stereoisomers were investigated.
