During the last Mobile World Congress-the biggest technology conference in the world-the Internet of Things (IoT) was one of the most talked about topics, neck and neck with wireless networks and spectrum. IoT technologies can help cities to manage their resources better, monitor smart grids, deploy services as needed, and respond to emergencies in a more timely and efficient manner. With more cities joining the smart city revolution and investing in sensors and other IoT devices, the risk of a new tech bubble is rising.
