Resumo
The New developments in 3D data registration and post processing have enabled us to obtain models whose final design means a qualitative step in order to reach a much more realistic viewing of them for both cases: sculptures and architectural monuments. Uniting 3D scanning technologies, photogrammetry, texture mapping, 3D imaging software tools and interactive content, we found novel and higher levels of quality in the images. Thanks to the new software display - with these images made in Unity - a new field emerges which find applications in improved interactivity , cellular phones, tablets, augmented reality and related technologies, as well as in the development of future platforms such as holodisplays, auto stereoscopic 3D television computer vision, etc. In this way it provides an excellent tool for heritage but a valuable working tool for professionals too.
