Resumo

A 3-year-old boy with no significant family history presented to our dermatology service with a well circumscribed 19×8 cm, brown-coloured, atrophic plaque with a cliff-drop border and slight induration, localised on the lower back (figure 1). Medical history was unremarkable excepting for active atopic dermatitis. The lesion was reported to be present since birth and had been growing in size, without any changes in aspect.
