It presents the steps taken for preservation and access to information by providing lithographs in digital media through the project Art and Technology: taking care of memory, carried with the support of the Department of Information Science. The rescue enabled access to one of the most important documentary and historical collections of the artistic memory of Pernambuco, in the twentieth century, offering works created by artists from Pernambuco in the Oficina Guaianases de Gravuras, between the 70’s and 90’s. Nowadays, deposited in the Library Joaquim Cardozo, Federal University of Pernambuco, the pictures document the past of the artwork in Brazilian lithograph, representing an important teaching tool, a basis for research in art history, and a source of information for the entire academic community.
