Zoological collection give important information because it constitute a register of biological diversity, is a base to many researches and also preserve elements as evidence of done research. This study presents a brought up date list of the species deposited in the reference collection of "Instituto de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Mamirauá" (IDSM). The ichthyology collection of IDSM has, currently, 528 packs including 1.113 specimens being identified as 332 taxa of 41 families and 13 orders. Most of the deposited material came from Mamirauá Reserve with 271 species and 616 specimens. Followed by Tefé river basin with 136 species and 284 specimens, Solimões river with 66 species and 101 specimens and Amanã Reserve with 53 species and 109 specimens. The larger species register of Mamirauá Reserve was attributed in part consequence of the biggest effort of sampling. In order to fully carry through its function of information and knowledge of the Middle Solimões Ichthyofauna, becomes necessary a continuity of depositing new species from the last inventories carried through in the Reserves Mamirauá and Amanã, making constant maintenance.
