ResumoSources of $C\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}P$ violation beyond those of the standard model of particle physics are needed to explain the dominance of matter over antimatter in the universe. The bound state of a bottom antiquark and a strange quark and its charge conjugate is a fertile hunting ground, as standard model $C\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}P$ violating effects are typically small. This article reviews the many studies of $C\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}P$ violation in ${B}_{s}$ decays, the quantum mixing of ${B}_{s}$ and anti-${B}_{s}$, and their interference.
