ResumoCross sections for the $^{48}\mathrm{Ca}(^{3}\mathrm{He}, {\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{0})^{47}\mathrm{Ca}$ reaction have been measured. A comparative distorted-wave Born approximation analysis of this reaction and of the $^{48}\mathrm{Ca}(d, {t}_{0})^{47}\mathrm{Ca}$ reaction provides a zero-range normalization constant for the ($\ensuremath{\alpha}$, $^{3}\mathrm{He}$) reaction of ${D}^{2}=18\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{4}$ Me${\mathrm{V}}^{2}$${\mathrm{fm}}^{3}$, which is based on the much better known normalization constant for the ($t, d$) reaction of ${D}^{2}=3.9\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{4}$ Me${\mathrm{V}}^{2}$${\mathrm{fm}}^{3}$.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{48}\mathrm{Ca}(^{3}\mathrm{He}, {\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{0})$, $E=9\ensuremath{-}13$ MeV. Measured $\ensuremath{\sigma}(E, \ensuremath{\theta})$. DWBA analysis of these and of 18 MeV results. Comparison with $^{48}\mathrm{Ca}(d, {t}_{0})$. Deduced normalization constant for ($\ensuremath{\alpha}$, $^{3}\mathrm{He}$) reaction.
