ResumoThe aim of the study was to focus attention on the age of the young man under investigation. The onset age of chronic pancreatitis normally ranges from 30-40 years old. However, a young Chinese patient of just 23-years-old underwent an operation in order to treat chronic pancreatitis caused by stones and its post-operative outcome determined with the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP).
