ResumoThe difference in the decay constants of ${\mathrm{Be}}^{7}$ in Be, BeO, and Be${\mathrm{F}}_{2}$, have been measured using the differential ionization chamber technique. The results are $\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{Be})\ensuremath{-}\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{Be}{\mathrm{F}}_{2})=(7.41\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.47)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}\ensuremath{\lambda}$, $\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{BeO})\ensuremath{-}\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{Be}{\mathrm{F}}_{2})=(6.09\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.55)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}\ensuremath{\lambda}$, $\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{Be})\ensuremath{-}\ensuremath{\lambda}(\mathrm{BeO})=(1.31\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.51)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}\ensuremath{\lambda}$. These values are smaller than the results previously obtained by Leininger, Segr\`e, and Wiegand for the same compounds, but support their earlier work.
