Este artigo tem como objetivo abordar o conto “Notas ao pe da pagina” (1995), de Moacyr Scliar. O referido texto sera analisado no intuito de estabelecer uma conexao entre literatura e o tema da traducao e levantar reflexoes sobre linguagem a partir de diferentes concepcoes, as quais serao relacionadas a visoes distintas sobre traducao. Alem disso, uma analise da ficcao de Scliar por Rosemary Arrojo, cujo trabalho esta vinculado aos Estudos da Traducao, sera apresentada. A fundamentacao teorica inclui os pensamentos de Mounin (1975), Frota (2000) e Arrojo (2004). The referred text will be analyzed in order to establish a connection between literature and the theme of translation and pose reflections on language from different conceptions, which will be related to distinct views of translation. Moreover, an analysis of Scliar’s fiction by Rosemary Arrojo, whose work is linked to the field of Translation Studies, will be presented.
