Data recovery technology is a method to recover valuable data from deleted files. When important data are lost, data recovery is able to rescue at least partial data from deleted files, which makes the loss to a minimum. NTFS is a Microsoft developed files system and will replace earlier FAT32 files system gradually. This paper introduces the structure of NTFS files system and describes a method to recover data in NTFS file system.
