The author begins with various texts of John Wesley, and his questionings and defense of the youth of the era. Establishing a dialogue with these affirmations, the author discusses some aspects that could contribute to the formation of a Christian identity for adolescents in the contemporary world and establishes objectives for a pastoral aimed at youth.
