ResumoTests were conducted to measure the susceptibility of codling moth, Cydia pomonelia (L.), adults and larvae of both field and laboratory colonies at Yakima, Wash., to azinphosmethyl and to compare these data with results obtained previously as a test for development of pesticide resistance. Presently, there seems to be no resistance to azinphosmethyl after 22 to 23 years of use. The minimum lethal residue for adults was 0.33 µg/cm2, and for larvae 1.17 µg/cm2 or 168 ppm. The LD50 for the adults of the two strains tested was 0.13 and 0.21 µg/moth.
