Resumo

Nutrient enrichment in the Great Lakes has provided fertile areas for growth of algal nuisances. One of these species, Cla- dop, hora glomerata, has become a major problem for many cities border- ing the Great Lakes. Ecological factors concerning its growth in Milwau- kee's Harbor were studied, and its distribution in the Great Lakes deter- mined. Phosphorus levels appear to be closely linked with Cladophora increases.
