The structures of Bu-1975C1 and C2 have been determined to be 4'-deoxybutirosins A and B. They contain the new deoxyaminosugar, 2, 6-diamino-2, 4, 6-trideoxy-α-D-xylo-hexopyranose (4-deoxyneosamine C).
