ResumoDuring its history extended on tree century, in the Roman military camp Ulcisia Castra (Szentendre) an active building activity was pereformed, and the soldiers-masons has used a various stone materials and technologies.In this paper, we present the composition of the principale rock types and of the mortars of the studied const-ruction rests.Using methods of the remote sensing and of the surface analysis, the dimensions, the shape, the spatial distribution and the interconnection of the stone pieces were studied in six selected wall sectors.In this way, advancing matematically fondamented hypothesis, the archaeological data were completed with observations about the periods of constructions, about the mason technology and style.Finally, some inedite observations were presented, about the role of the cylindric orifi ces on the top of certain wall sectors.
