Resumo

SUMMARY Spleens and intestines of field cases of turkey hemorrhagic enteritis were examined histologically and by electron microscopy. Histologically, cells were seen with greatly enlarged nuclei containing pale-pink inclusions. Electron microscopy revealed a profusion of virus particles, intranuclearly and scattered in the tissues, with morphology suggesting an adenovirus.
