ResumoTAH/BSO followed by postoperative RT is the established treatment for endometrial cancer with high grade, advanced stage, or deep myometrial invasion. In many institutions postoperative RT consists of EBRT and an intravaginal boost, but the value of the intravaginal boost has been disputed.Patients in our institution have been treated by EBRT without an intravaginal boost since 1988.In this paper we present the patterns of failure in patients with stage I and II endometrial cancer treated without an intravaginal boost in order to evaluate the necessity of intravaginal boost therapy after surgery and EBRT.
