Corrections to the fourth and sixth powers of surface potentials have been made in the Hogg—Healy—Fuerstenau formulas for the double layer interaction at constant surface potential between two dissimilar plates and between two dissimilar spheres. Agreement with the exact numerical values of the interaction of dissimilar plates given by Devereux and de Bruyn is considerably improved for low and moderate surface potentials.
