Resumo

Billy, age three and half, lay in his hospital crib, his back to the door, his arms clutching a soft, brown teddy bear, and his shoulders shaking as he cried uncontrollably. His mother was leaning over the crib, rubbing his back as she said, look at me. I really have to leave now. Please don't cry. If you were the nurse observing this scene, what would you do to make this separation easier for parent and child?
