Resumo

Descriptions and figures are given for 16 species of Feltria known from central and western United States, including 11 that are new: F. polyplacophora, F. multiscutata, F. rubra nearctica, F. montanensis, F. major, F. lundbladi, F. curviseta, F. oregonensis, F. flatheadensis, F. parva, and F. laversi. New synonymy: F. macroplata geometrica Habeeb (= F. occidentalis Habeeb). A schematic drawing of the basic dorsal plates and glandularia is given.
