S. Merwin W. S. Merwin nació en Nueva York en 1927. Ha editado más de quince volúmenes de poesía, entre ellos, Migration, que obtuvo el premio National Book Award en 2005, y The River Sound, reconocido como libro notable del año por el New York Times.
