A Percepção da Equipe de Enfermagem Sobre Liderança no Serviço de Urgência e Emergência de Um Hospital Geral de Belo Horizonte

Resumo

In the service of urgency and emergency the leadership is important for effectiveness of the work of the nursing grouping, being able to directly intervene with the joints between the members of the team, reflecting in the assistance and recovery of the patient. The objective of this study was to evaluate the perception of the nursing team on leadership in the urgency service and hospital emergency. A quantitative and qualitative boarding was used, through questionnaire, applied the 20 technician of nursing and 4 nurses and interviews with 4 professionals of each one of these areas, operating in the team of the service of attendance of urgency and emergency of a general hospital of great transport, of Belo Horizonte. It was observed that with regard to the meaning of the work in team 5 (21%) they had the same understood to be a grouping of diverse professionals in determined local developing activities in hourly and for 19 (79%) the work in team consists of the union of a group of people around a common objective. The 16 (67%) technician had perceived the nurse as a democratic leader, however they had affirmed that they had not been prepared to exert leadership during its formation and that this qualification happens with the daily experience. One concluded that the leadership is basic for the development of the activity of work in team. One perceived that these professionals possess a critical vision of the capacity to lead and know to identify which type of leadership is submitted and as it intervenes with the joints of the work.
