Diverse Aspects of Tourism Research

A Ilha de Mosqueiro, localizada ao norte da sede municipal de Belem, consiste no principal espaco turistico para a populacao belenense e tradicional espaco do turismo de segunda residencia, principalmente as praias da orla oeste. Diante da realidade construida neste espaco a partir do aumento da acessibilidade e da consequente intensificacao e diversificacao das praticas turisticas, o objetivo da pesquisa consistiu em analisar o conflito entre territorialidades constituidas pelas praticas turisticas de segunda residencia e excursionista nas praias da orla oeste de Mosqueiro e os reflexos no reordenamento territorial dessa localidade. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que a dinâmica de ordem/desordem do territorio turistico da orla oeste de Mosqueiro e fruto do conflito de territorialidades entre as praticas turisticas com vistas ao maior controle do espaco e a implementacao de um ordenamento territorial mais adequado a natureza de sua respectiva pratica. Os discursos adquirem grande importância na manifestacao desse conflito, especialmente no que se refere aos turistas de segunda residencia, que evidenciam forte intencionalidade nas acoes. Os principais reordenamentos territoriais inerentes a esse conflito se materializam por meio de tres planos principais: a territorializacao da pratica turistica excursionista; a desterritorializacao da pratica turistica de segunda residencia; e o rearranjo territorial da pratica turistica de segunda residencia. TERRITORIES, TERRITORIALITIES AND REARRANGEMENTS IN THE TOURISTIC PRACTICES IN MOSQUEIRO BEACHES WEST EDGE, BELEM / PA Abstract: The Mosqueiro Island, located in the northern region of the municipal seat of Belem, is the main tourist area for people of Belem and a traditional tourism space as second home, especially the beaches of the west edge population. Faced with the reality constructed in this space from increased accessibility and consequent intensification and diversification of tourism practices, the research objective was to examine the conflict between territoriality made by practices of the second-home tourism and excursionist practices in the beaches of the Mosqueiro west edge, and also the reflections on territorial reorganization of that location. The research results show that the dynamics of order / disorder of the tourist area of west edge of Mosqueiro are the result of conflict between tourist territorialities practices aiming a greater control of space and the implementation of a more appropriate land use planning to the nature of their practice. The speeches acquire great importance in the manifestation of this conflict, especially with regard to second home tourists, which show strong intentionality in actions. The main territorial rearrangements inherent to this conflict materialize through three main planes: the territorialization of tourist excursionist practice; deterritorialization of tourist practice as second home; and territorial rearrangement of tourist practice as second home.
