Brazilian cultural history and politics

This paper presents some of the results of a researche that aimed at identifyingthe relationship between television and Brazilian films during the period from1980 to 2000. Its data relates to the presence of national films in the Brazilianopen television system during the 7665 days of these twenty-one years. A fullinteractive data bank will soon be available on the web.
