ResumoIn patients with stable coronary artery disease, the ischemic threshold for the production of effort-related angina is often quite variable. Although this feature is commonly attributed to changes in the caliber of coronary arteries at the site of stenosis, it could also be caused by the constriction of distal vessels, collateral vessels, or both.
