ResumoThe main purpose of this article is not only to understand the period of Athenian tyrannyin in their historical meanings.The aim is to do a comparison between two types of government: the legislature of Solo and the government of Pisistratus, the tyrant, to realize that the processes that culminated in the rise of tyrannical government.As documentation, will be included a narrative Stories, written by the historian Herodotus.To cover some theoretical and conceptual discussions, such as the very word «tyrant», is also essential in our work.
