Resumo

Leptodactylus silvanimbus, an unusual cloud forest-inhabiting leptodactyline, was described from Honduras by McCranie et al. (1980). Subsequently, Wilson et al. (1986), redescribed the type locality, corrected some erroneous elevational data, and described the adult male color pattern, habitat, call, and calling site. On 4 August 1982, we collected two leptodactyline tadpoles at El Chagiiiton, Depto. Ocotepeque, Honduras. El Chagiiiton is a small group of dwellings in a farming area located at 1870 m in the Lower Montane Moist
