ResumoThe approximate lethal intravenous dose of soluble salts of thorium, cerium, erbium, yttrium, praseodymium, and didymium is determined for rats. Massive intraperitoneal dosage of soluble salts of thorium, cerium, erbium, yttrium, and didymium, produce no effect upon the growth behavior of rat sarcoma 10. Intraperitoneal injection of praseodymium nitrate increases the incidence of tumor liquefaction in rat sarcoma 10, but does not affect the growth behavior of the Hyde rat carcinoma. Intraperitoneal injection of manganese acetate produces no effect upon the growth of the Hyde rat carcinoma. Intravenous injection of massive doses of lead acetate and of colloidal lead orthophosphate does not affect the growth behavior of the Hyde rat carcinoma.
