Resumo

Data are reported for solutions of sea salt at concentrations up to 161 ppm (2.5 equivalent ppm chlorine) over the temperature range 5 to 120 °C. Analysis is made in terms of equivalent conductance and the limiting law, Λ=Λ0-αC , with evaluation of Λo and α in terms of the temperature. As a result, the conductivity due to sea salt in water is calculable over these ranges of temperature and concentration with an estimated error of ± 0.3 percent or less.
