In our context, where there is a religious plurality and human suffering, we can find a great possibility for a joint performance between diverse religious expressions, when they are opened to the dialogue. This article intends, having Paul Tillich’s thought as point of departure, to indicate liberating possibilities that the dialogue between Christianity and Buddhism can bring for the Brazilian reality.
