Autores ResumoON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, last year in the land of Elgar, BBC 1 ran a repeat performance of the awardwinning television play by Dennis Potter 'Vote Vote Vote for Nigel Barton': a gusty minority view for the gutless majority, of the British political machinery. It was followed immediately by the 'hard sell' a live interview given by the ex-Foreign Minister now Minister of Economic Affairs, mouthing authentic Parliamentary platitudes with slightly less comic effect than the Actors' Studio achieve with Chekhov. Here was a splendid example of Life trying to imitate Art and succeeding beyond all normal expectations.
