ResumoThis paper describes the techniques used to determine design wind loads for the roofs of four large venues used for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, including Stadium Australia. The techniques used for all four structures involved the measurement of correlation coefficients for panel pressures from rigid wind-tunnel models, the determination of structural influence coefficients by the designers, and the determination of effective static load distributions.
