ResumoAfter presenting the Egyptian juridical institutions, the functioning of justice in ancient Egypt and the Egyptian vocabulary which can be understood as juridical vocabulary, the interventions of the second character of the tale The Eloquent Peasant, Rensi, are analysed, or, better said, those in which Khuenanupu provokes the high steward and which form another body of ideas that consolidate the concept of maat, now fundamentally seen as a guarantee of survival and eternity.
