The testis of the snake Leptotyphlops phillipsi Barbour (L. macrorhynchus Jan) consists of 4-15 distinct ellipsoid-like units. Each contains one or more seminiferous tubules. Each tubule seems to open through a separate vas efferens into the epididymis, which lies parallel to the whole testis.
