ResumoThis paper presents the results of the taxonomic study of the diatoms from Peri lagoon, located in the southern of Santa Catarina Island, Santa Catarina State, Brazil, situated at 27°43'30 of south latitude and 48°32'30 of longitude. About 108 samples were analyzed, they were collected between march 1981 and february 1982. Syxty two taxa were identified, 10 of them ara mentioned for the first time in the Santa Catarina State.
