ResumoThe present paper is the outcome of a survey of molluscs in the Northern Shan States for a period of about three months. It is chiefly based on the collection of freshwater and amphibious molluscs made in that country during November and December of 1926, and January 1927.I have also had before me Dr. Feegrade's collection of molluscs made in August and September of 1926 from Hsipaw and Lashio, and the Indian Museum collection of molluscs made in various parts of the Northern Shan States several years ago.I have also had for comparison the rich collection of freshwater molluscs from the Southern Shan States and other parts of Burma deposited in the Indian Museum.
