Resumo

Presentation of CaseA fourteen-year-old girl entered the hospital because of pain in the left hip.She had been well until sixteen months previously, when pain in the left lower extremity developed, and she began to walk with a limp. Three months later x-ray films of the left hip (Fig. 1) demonstrated a radiolucent lesion in the proximal femur. An operation on the left hip at another hospital disclosed a "cyst," which was packed with bone chips; microscopical examination of a biopsy specimen from the lesion revealed a benign chondroblastoma.During the following year the patient continued to experience pain . . .
