Este texto aborda a questão da terceirização no Brasil, referenciando-se na discussão sobre a crise da sociedade do trabalho. Problematiza acerca do fenômeno da globalização, da crise do fordismo, dos novos paradigmas tecnológicos e organizacionais e do fordismo periférico. E conclui destacando algumas características e conseqüências da terceirização sobre os trabalhadores e o mercado de trabalho no país. Ângela Borges Maria da Graça Druck This text approaches the question of the process of tertiarization (subcontracting) of the economy in Brazil from the framework of current discussions on the crisis of the work society. It probes into issues related to the globalization phenomenon, the crisis of Fordism, the new technological paradigms, and to the "peripheral Fordism". And it concludes pointing at some of the characteristics and consequences of the process of tertiarization on the working class and on the Brazilian labor market.
