Resumo: Este artigo apresenta os resultados da análise tecnológica do material lítico associado à cerâmica proto-jê, do Sambaqui Ilha das Pedras, localizado no litoral do estado do Paraná. O objetivo foi identificar as técnicas utilizadas para lascamento de diferentes matérias primas e a intensidade e as atividades de redução envolvidas na produção de artefatos líticos. A partir dessas informações, buscou-se discutir os estigmas de lascamento de lascas unipolares e bipolares em quartzo leitoso, e comparar a composição da amostra com a caracterização dos conjuntos líticos de outros sambaquis.Abstract: This article presents the results of the technological analysis of the lithic assemblage associated with southern proto-Jê ceramics from Ilha das Pedras shell mound, located in the coast of the state of Paraná, southern Brazil. The aims were to identify the techniques employed in knapping different raw materials and to identify which activities involved in the production of the lithic artifacts were performed at the Ilha das Pedras shell mound. Based on this information, we discuss the characteristics of unipolar and bipolar milky quartz flakes and compare the sample from the lithic assemblage of Ilha das Pedras with the lithic industries of other sambaquis, associated or not with ceramics.
