Resumo

The present study draws up a report of a final academic work of the Residency Teaching Program at Colegio Pedro II turned to the continued formation of teachers from state and municipal public schools of Rio de Janeiro. It describes a pedagogical project in the teaching of history concerning the Education of Young People and Adults carried out at Ciep 168 Ilda Silveira Rodrigues at Nova Iguacu, which was based on the interrelationships between work and citizenship at the intersection of historical temporalities. And more – the theoretical-methodological framework we take as a foundation as well as the project as a whole, from conception to results, are briefly explained.
