ResumoSummaryA previously undescribed group C agent has been isolated from Culex (Eubonnea) accelerans Root collected near Rio Claro in southeastern Trinidad. The name Nepuyo is proposed for this agent. Neutralizing antibody has been demonstrated in human serum. Some of the physical and biological properties of the virus are described.
