This paper proposes a development model for virtual laboratory based on ColdFusion.It uses Flash as the client side to improve users' experience and animate the experimental output,applies ColdFusion as the server side,and uses JavaBean,COM/DCOM,CORBA Object or ColdFusion component as the computing tools in the server side,which can improve the efficiency of developing a virtual laboratory markedly.Experimental results prove that the designers can design and develop a new virtual laboratory fast,and users can do experiments without the limitation of time,place and experimental equipments by using the model.
