This paper analyzes startup course of linux, which divides startup course into five stages such as power or rese, BIOS power-on self test, startup of LILO in MBR, linux kernel running and initialization of system, init process running and so on. This paper analyzes running course of every stage, and draws flowing chart of startup course.
