Resumo

Topomyia (Suay.) dulongensis Gong et Lu, 1995 (Figs. 1~6) The male is quite closely related to T. (Suay.) yanbarensis Miyagi, 1976; T. (Suay.) suchariti Miyagi et Toma, 1989 and T. (Suay.) nemorosa Gong, 1996 by the presence of a row of large broad pale scales on lateral margin from scuteal angle to wing root or supraalars on mesonotum. It differs from the latters and other members of the subgenus in the following aspects: 1) dorsocentrals present; 2) the basal portion of IX T broader and short; 3) the terminal margin of basal lobe of claspette with 7~8 stout recurved spiniform; 4) the distimere simple, with a row shorter spiniform on subapical margin; 5) the lateralia of aedeagus developed, with three lobes. Specimen examined: 4♂♂, 5♀♀,5 male genitalia, 15 larvae, collected from bamboo stumps in Lushui county of Yunnan Province in September, 1997. All types are deposited in the Institute of Epidemiology of Yunnan Province.
