Our study has the aim to show that the aesthetic fragmentation presented by the novel Confissoes de Ralfo is a result of the romantic movement enterprises to innovate, mainly the ones known as satanism, that is the rebel search for the being’s plenitude viewed through Satan’s figure and the revolt against the classical canons, resulting in the awake to the aesthetic fragmentation.
