Resumo

Nautilus is the official file manager for Linux GNOME desktop,which is one of the most important applications of GNOME.This paper studies the architecture of Nautilus,and makes some improvement based on the latest release Nautilus 2.6 to enhance its usability.This will help to popularize Linux as a desktop operating system in China.
