Protecting Effect of Fructus Corni Officinalis before and after Preparation on Mice Acute Liver Damage

OBJECTIVE To investigate into the protecting effect of Fructus Corni Officinalis before and after its preparation on mice acute liver damage.METHOD Mice acute liver damage model was made with CCl4.Observations were made on the protecting effect of Fructus Corni Officinalis before and after its preparation,with ALT,AST,MOD and SOD as the indexes.RESULT After preparation of Fructus Corni Officinalis,ALT and AST activity and liver MDA content dropped markedly and liver SOD level increased markedly in the medium dosage group,with great differences from the crude drug group.CONCLUSION The protecting effect of Fructus Corni Officinalis after preparation on mice acute liver damage is enhanced.
